Who in my organisation would be suited to lead on our Quality Mark?

We recommend identifying an internal lead (мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± Champion) a representative to work with our experts to help your organisation achieve your Quality Mark.

Your representative/s can be anyone from your organisation. It might be someone from the leadership team, someone from HR or from any internal team. We have put together the following guide to help you find the right person.

A мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± Champion/Lead will...

  • Be the known representative within your organisation and communicate the company's aims and steps to becoming a dyslexia friendly organisation.
  • Work with the British мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± Association to help your organisation achieve the Quality Mark.
  • Work with your organisation’s leadership and HR teams to develop strategic and operational commitment to the Quality Mark.
  • With the мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± guidance ensure that company policies, inductions, procedures and priorities are dyslexia friendly.
  • Undertake dyslexia awareness training, and where needed ensure other staff undertake training.
  • Undertake or appoint other staff to undertake specialist training.
  • Be open and understanding and strive to deliver good support to staff around dyslexia friendly practices.
